2015-16: Finished sixth in the 100 breast against UNLV with 1:00.47 and seventh in the 200 breast with 2:14.47…At the Texas Invitational, placed second in the D final of the 200 breast (2:05.40), third in the D final of the 400 IM (4:08.23) and fifth in the D final of the 100 breast (59.08)…Earned all four season-bests in exhibitions at the Pac-12 Championships.
High School: A four-time letterwinner at Hamilton High School in the IM…Was team captain his junior and senior years and MVP his sophomore year…Holds the school record in the 500 free (4:45.60)…Finished in the top eight of the 200 IM and 100 breast his senior year…Was an AP Scholar.
Personal: Born Hunter J Hojnacki in May of 1996 to John and Michelle Hojnacki…Has two older brothers, Zac and Dylan that also go to Arizona, and a younger brother, Sky…Planned major in Mechanical Engineering…Likes to golf and play sports (basketball, football and frisbee) in his free time.
