2016 (XC): Gautreau competed in five events throughout the 2016 campaign. In four of the five events Gautreau was able to place in the top-four amongst his teammates. His season was highlighted by an 18th-place finish at the George Kyte Classic, a 12th-place at the ASU Invitational, and a 68th overall finish at the Pac-12 Championships. Gautreau was also able to garner second-team Pac-12 All-Academic honors.
2016: Did not compete in indoors ... Gautreau competed in four total races during the 2016 outdoor season and finished in the top-five in three of them. The sophomore set personal bests in the 3,000 and 5,000-meter races. He placed fourth-overall in a 3,000-meter race at the Jim Click Shootout with a personal best time of 9:06.69. His personal best in the 5,000-meter came at the Willie Williams Classic where he clocked in at 15:27.01 for another fourth-place finish.
2015 (XC): Finished sixth overall at the ASU Invitational with a time of 21:11.17 in the four-mile race… Finished 12th at the U of A Cross Country Twilight with a time of 22:02 in the four-mile race… Placed 76th overall in the Pac-12 Championships with a time of 25:59.3 in the 8K-race.
2015: Redshirted during the indoor season … Outdoors, Gautreau clocked a time of 9:10.59 at the Jim Click Shootout in the 3K, good for an eighth-place finish … Ran the 5K in 15:44.11 at the Willie Williams Classic and finished in fifth place.
2014 (XC): Ran the four-mile race in 21:22.64 at the ASU Invite, good for a 12th-place finish … Took 23rd at the George Kyte Classic with a time of 24:52.6 in the 8K race … Ran 8,000 meters in 27:06 at the Pac-12 Championships.
2014: Did not compete during the track and field the seasons.
2013 (XC): Gautreau competed for the men’s cross country team in three meets … He finished in 27th place overall at the George Kyte Classic with an 8K time of 28:08 … At the Dave Murray Invitational, his time was 23:48.41 in the 4.25-mile race … He was the eighth-place finisher overall at the Thunderbird Classic with a time of 26:14.1 in the 8K.
HIGH SCHOOL: He graduated from Salpointe Catholic and was a four-time letterwinner on the cross country team … He was named the team captain his junior and senior years … Gautreau was also named the team’s Most Valuable Player as a junior … At the Arizona State Championship, Gautreau finished in fourth place overall.
PERSONAL: He is the son of Kenneth and Roxanne … He has a brother, Matt and a sister, Kate … He is pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering … In the offseason, he likes to compete in triathlons.
