2015: Indoors, Parish competed in two events in the 400-meter sprint during the indoor season … He took fourth place at the Don Kirby Elite with a time of 47.26 … Finished in 11th place at the MPSF Championships after clocking a time of 48.09 … Outdoors, Parish was a member of the 4x400-meter relay team that broke a school record at the NCAA West Prelims with a time of 3:04.51 along with Blake Eichler, Pete Lauderdale III and Bryce Houston … He competed in the 400-meter hurdles in six events during the outdoor season … He set a new personal best in the finals of the Pac-12 Championships by clocking a time of 51.48, good for a third-place finish … Took first place at the Arizona-ASU Dual meet with a time of 51.98 … Clocked a time of 52.10 at the LSU Alumni Gold and earned a third-place finish … Finished the year at the NCAA West Prelims where he ran a time of 53.72.
2014: Indoors, Parish’s personal-best time of 47.02 in the 400-meter sprint came at the Cherry & Silver Invitational where he took fifth place overall … Parish won the competition at The Armory Collegiate Invitational in the event, posting a time of 47.23 … At the MPSF Championships, his time of 47.49 was good for fifth place … Parish was also a member of the 4x400-meter relay team along with Bryce Houston, Neil Houlihan and Avery Mickens … They had a season-best time of 3:14.75 at the Don Kirby Elite … At the MPSF Championships, the quartet finished in ninth place with a time of 3:14.91 … Outdoors, Parish’s personal-best time of 46.45 came in the final of the 400-meter sprint at the Pac-12 Championships, good for a third-place finish and all-conference honors … Parish ran at the NCAA West Preliminaries and finished in 20th place overall in quarterfinal with a time of 46.79 … On the 4x400-meter relay team, Parish, Mohammad Alhasan, Neil Houlihan and Collins Kibet clocked a season-best time of 3:12.54 at the Pac-12 Championships, good for fifth place overall … After the collegiate season, Parish ran at the USA Junior Outdoor Championships, finishing in sixth place overall with a time of 46.72 … That spot was good for a trip to the IAAF World Junior Championships as a member of the 4x400-meter relay pool … Parish ran in the preliminary round, clocking a 400-meter split of 46.1 as the third leg, posting a-then World Junior leading-time of 3:03.97 … Parish did not run in the final but the quartet from the USA won with a time of 3:03.31, Parish earned a gold medal for his work in the preliminary round.
HIGH SCHOOL: A graduate of Etiwanda High School in Rancho Cucamonga, Parish was the team captain and team MVP his senior year … He earned all-conference honors in 2011, 2012 and 2013 as well all-city and all-district accolades in those three years … Also in 2012 and 2013, Parish claimed all-region accolades … He earned all-state honors as a senior and was the 2013 California State Champion in the 400-meter run … He holds school records in the 200 meters (21.60), 400 meters (46.53) and the 4x400-meter relay (3:18) … During his senior year, his personal-best time of 46.53 was good for No. 7 in the country.
PERSONAL: He is the son of Lawanda and Don Parish … His mom, Lawanda, ran for USC’s track and field team and competed in the 200 meters, 400 meters, 4x100-meter relay and 4x400-meter relay … He has a sister, Tatiana Parish … He has not chosen a major.
