2015: Indoors, Eichler set a personal best at the MPSF Championships in the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.74, good for an 11th-place finish … Took fourth in the 200-meter dash at the NAU Friday Duals with a mark of 21.97 … Set a personal best time at the MPSF Championships in the 400-meter sprint with a time of 47.75, good for a sixth-place finish … Outdoors, Eichler was a member of the 4x400-meter relay team that set a school record with a time of 3:04.51 at the NCAA West Regionals along with Pete Lauderdale III, Miles Parish and Bryce Houston … He was also a member of the 4x100-meter relay team that clocked a time of 45.21 at the Pac-12 Championships and finished in fifth place … Ran the 200-meter dash in 21.15 at the Willie Williams Classic, which was good for a fourth-place finish and was a personal-best time as well … Took 12th in the 200-meter dash in the prelims at the Pac-12 Championships with a mark of 21.53 … Set a personal best time of 46.90 in the 400-meter spring at the Jim Click Shootout and finished in seventh place … Took seventh place at the Pac-12 Championships in the 400-meter sprint with a time of 47.10.
2014: Redshirted the indoor and outdoor season.
HIGH SCHOOL: Eichler graduated from Pinnacle High School and was the track and field team’s MVP his freshman year and senior year … He earned district and regional titles in the 100, 200 and 400 meters … At the Arizona State Championships, Eichler claimed a third-place finish in the 400-meter sprint … He holds school records in those three events as well … His record in the 100 meters is 10.83, 21.79 in the 200 meters and 48.36 in the 400 meters.
PERSONAL: He is the son of Detlev and Gena Eichler and was born in Fountain Valley, Calif. … He has a sister, Natalie … He is pursuing a degree in physiology and aspires to work in sports medicine.
