2014: Gilbert clocked a personal-best time of 25.10 in the 200-meter sprint at the Mountain T’s Invitational in Flagstaff … That time was good for a first-place finish … At the Don Kirby Elite Invitational, Gilbert clocked a personal-best time of 57.11 in the 400-meter run, taking 17th place overall … Outdoors, Gilbert ran 24.91 at the Jim Click Shootout, finishing in 11th place overall in the 200-meter race … Gilbert’s personal-best time of 56.75 in the 400 meters came at the ASU Invitational.
HIGH SCHOOL: Gilbert graduated from Santa Margarita Catholic High School and was the team MVP her senior year … She earned all-city accolades her junior and senior year … She was named the Most Valuable Sprinter by her team … She posted times of 56.96 in the 400-meter run, 25.6 in the 200-meter sprint and 12.6 in the 100-meter dash … She is a school-record holder in the 4x100-meter relay and the 4x400-meter relay.
PERSONAL: She is the daughter of Torey and Curtis Gilbert and was born in Mission Viejo, Calif. … She has one sister, Stephanie Brock … She has not chosen a major yet but aspired to be a sports broadcaster.
