2014: Indoors, Kane competed in the 60-meter dash and 200-meter dash … Outdoors, Kane’s personal-best time of 11.03 in the 100-meter dash came at the Jim Click Shootout, good for 12th place … Also at the Jim Click Shootout, Kane ran a wind-aided 21.85 in the 200-meter sprint … Kane ran on the 4x100-meter relay team and 4x400-meter relay team … Kane, Mohammad Alhasan, Bryce Houston and Harry Zimmerman ran a season-best time of 40.77 at the UA-ASU-NAU Double Dual, taking second place.
HIGH SCHOOL: Kane graduated from Great Oak High School and was the team captain and team MVP his junior and senior year … He earned all-conference honors and all-city honors for his work during his junior and senior year … He was a member of the 4x200-meter relay team that earned All-America accolades … He holds school records in the 100 meters and 200 meters … He earned the Academic Achievement Award.
PERSONAL: He is the son of Tracy and John Kane … He has two brothers, Nick and Ryan … He also has two sisters, Meghan and Anna … He is pursuing a degree in business.
