2014: Indoors, Ross started off the season by setting school records in the first two meets of the year … He cleared 7-6.5 (2.30m) in the high jump at the Lumberjack Team Challenge, finishing in first place overall and breaking Edgar Rivera-Morales’ record of 7-5 (2.26m) set in 2013 … The following meet, the Cherry & Silver Invitational, Ross broke his own school record, clearing 7-7 (2.31m), Ross sits in a six-way tie for No. 10 on the all-time indoor collegiate list for the men’s high jump … Ross won at The Armory Collegiate Invitational with a clearance of 7-5 (2.26m) and he won his second MPSF Championship in the event, clearing 7-3 (2.20m) … Ross also long jumped at The Armory Collegiate Invitational, posting a personal-best mark of 24-1 (7.34m) … The only high jump competition Ross did not win during the indoor season came at the NCAA Championships, when he earned a runner-up finish with a clearance of 7-6 (2.29m) … Outdoors, Ross won seven of the eight collegiate competitions he was entered in … He broke the school record of 7-6 (2.29m) set by James Frazier in 1980, clearing 7-6.5 (2.30m) at the UA-ASU-NAU Double Dual, senior night for Ross … Ross won his third conference title at the Pac-12 Championships with a mark of 7-5.75 (2.28m) … Ross and Dick Fosbury are the only two athletes in conference history to ever win three high jump titles … Ross also earned all-conference honors in the long jump (24-3.5, 7.40m – seventh place) and triple jump (50-10.25, 15.50m – third place) … Ross tied for first place at the NCAA West Preliminaries and advanced to the NCAA Championships … He took third place overall at the NCAA Championships with a clearance of 7-2.5 (2.20m) … After the collegiate season, Ross tied for second place at the USA Outdoor Championships with a clearance of 7-5.75 (2.28m) … He also competed in Canada, Scotland and Oregon in professional meets.

2013: Redshirted the indoor and outdoor season … After the collegiate season, Ross competed at the 2013 USA Championships in the high jump … He tied for 12th place with a clearance of 7-0.5 (2.15m) … During the competition, Ross was suffering from calf cramps. 

2012: Indoors, Ross claimed the NCAA Championship in the high jump, the first title in school history … At the NCAA Championships he won with a clearance of 7-3.75 … At the Razorback Invitational, Ross competed in the heptathlon and scored 5,269 points … During the high jump portion of the heptathlon, Ross had a personal-best clearance of 7-4.25, which tied the world record a high jump clearance during the heptathlon … He took first at the MPSF Championships with a clearance of 7-3.75 … Outdoors, Ross earned All-Pac-12 honors in the high, long, and triple jumps while claiming the league high jump title for the second-straight year …  Ross post a then-personal-best mark of 7-5 in the high jump at the Tucson Elite Classic … He also posted personal-best marks of 25-4.5 in the long jump at Pac-12 Championships and 52-0.5 in the triple jump at the NCAA Championships Preliminary Round … At the NCAA Championships, Ross earned a fourth-place finish in the men's high jump competition with a clearance of 7-4.25 … Ross earned his third-straight first-team All-America honor in the high jump … In the men's triple jump, Ross earned second-team All-America honors with a jump of 51-1.5 (15.58m), good for 15th place … At the U.S. Olympic Trials, Ross cleared 7-1.75 in the preliminary round, good for a spot in the final … In the final, Ross had a personal-best clearance of 7-5.75 and took third place … That mark is tied for the second-best mark in school history … Ross did not earn a spot on Team USA even though he took third place, he failed to meet the Olympic “A” Standard of 7-7.

2011: Indoors, set a personal best at the Blue and Orange Opener with a high jump of 7-4.5 and a first-place finish … Finished second at the MPSF Indoor Championships and the Texas A&M Challenge with jumps of 7-2.25 and 7-1, respectively … Jumped 7-2.5 at the NCAA Indoor Championships and finished eighth … Outdoors, set a personal best at the dual meet with Arizona State and Northern Arizona, with a mark of 7-3 and a first-place finish … Took home the Pac-10 Outdoor Championship in the high jump with a mark of 7-2.5 … Earned himself a spot on the All-America team by jumping 7-2.5 at NCAA Championships, placing in third … At the USA Outdoor Championships, he jumped 7-0.5 and finished 12th.

2010: Earned All-America honors in the high jump at both the NCAA Indoor and Outdoor Championships, placing seventh and eighth, respectively … Marked a personal-best high jump of 7-3.75 at the MPSF Indoor Championships … Also competed in the long and triple jumps.

HIGH SCHOOL: Competed at the California State Meet during his junior and senior seasons at Vista Murrieta High School ... Won the high jump with the clearance of 7-1 at the 2009 California State Championships ... Finished as runner-up in 2008 with a clearance of 6-11 … Achieved a personal best of 7-3 at a dual meet against Chapparal - the No. 2 jump among high school athletes during the year ... Also during his senior campaign, he marked 50-0 in the triple jump at the Saddle-Up Invitational ... Finished fifth at the state championships in the triple jump with a leap of 47-9 during his senior year ... High and long jump champion at the California Interscholastic Federation Championships ...
